Project Child Help
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then the video that Lourdes Valladares shot at a Dominican orphanage speaks volumes. While sightseeing in the Dominican Republic, Lourdes stumbled upon a filthy facility housing 80 severely malnourished & neglected children. She documented their neglect with her home video camera and returned home to start Project ChildHelp. New Florida witnesses the transformation this non-profit group is making in the lives of those neglected children.

New Jupiter Theatre
It was the biggest audience the rundown theatre had drawn in a long time. Over 500 volunteers showed up - not to attend a performance, but to sweep, scrub and sanitize the once-regal venue in preparation for its grand re-opening as the New Jupiter Theatre. New Florida explores the theatre's colorful past as it undergoes this volunteer-led facelift.

U-Boat Coast, Part 2

Not because they sent family members overseas to fight, but because German submarines were attacking American ships within sight of Florida's beaches. In part two of this dramatic tale, New Florida delves deeper into “Operation Drumbeat,” the Nazi plot to infiltrate American waters.
